EarthSoft announced an agreement for the acquisition of intellectual property associated with bp’s OneData software, which EarthSoft will bring to market as EQuIS Helios. EQuIS Helios provides an extensive set of new tools including a comprehensive and sophisticated data and document management portal designed to streamline workflows for large organizations. bp has a multi-year agreement with EarthSoft to use EQuIS, and now, EQuIS Helios.

bp Australia Data Governance Case Study
EarthSoft announces the release of a compelling new data governance case study in Australia with bp Energy and ALS, the result of several years’ effort between the three companies. bp sponsored and contributed to a series of design sessions, followed by multiple months development effort, which resulted in a complete digital workflow from task planning to field data collection, through the lab, and to bp Energy and its staff. The result of the work was referred to as “ground-breaking” by bp management and the resulting cost savings and productivity gains were significant.
The EarthSoft and ALS work is “a game-changer” for large corporate digital lab deliverable programs.
